John turned to see the One that was like the Son of Man, he turned to see the One who has hair as white as wool, he turned to see Jesus. When he turned, he turned in amazement, he turned in anticipation. He turned to see the voice, the voice that is as the sound of many waters.
Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. Revelations 1:12-13 (NKJV)
Have we turned to see this voice? Have we turned to see the One who is fairer than the sons of men. Do we even have an anticipation or an expectation to see the voice. We need to have a desire to encounter God in a new dimension, to receive new revelation concerning His person and concerning who He is.
Encountering God is encountering the voice. Encountering Him changes us and changes our mindsets. We are then changed from glory to glory because the things we saw as important or no longer that important to us and we are then consumed by the One who is the All Consuming Fire.
Consume us as we turn to see You. Consume us as we turn to see the voice that we may be changed, that we may be ruined and that we may see the fullness and may understand what is really important and that is You.
As we turn, we encounter You.

In this life, we go through processes and we go through seasons of trials and temptations. Sometimes seasons of testing, seasons of weariness and seasons of growth. But in all of this, we have a high priest who understands what we are going through and who went through the same thing. Jesus understands our situation. Jesus understands your situation.
Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16 (NKJV)
We have a high priest who has passed through the heavens, who has the paid the price of sin and who overcame death. Jesus is the high priest who had done it all and who has went through it all. He sympathizes with our weaknesses because He understands. Even though He is God, He is still man. When He was on the earth, He went through the same problems that any other human would have went through.
When we feel weary and faint, we have to remember that we are not the only ones who are going through this season (1 Corinthians 10:13). We are not alone and we will never be alone. When Jesus was on the earth, there were times when He too felt weary. In the wilderness where He fasted for forty days and forty nights, it says that He was hungry but He was also weary and weak (Matthew 4:1-11). Fasting for that amount of time is not easy. This is why the enemy sought to tempt Him during that time because He was weak but Jesus overcame. Even though His flesh was weak, His Spirit was willing and strong to say no to the enemy (Matthew 26:41). He didn't succumb to His flesh but He crucified it and said yes to God.
Jesus was tempted in all points as we are. He understands the temptations that will come. He is concerned about His people and He understands. When Jesus intercedes for us on His throne, He knows how to pray for us. We have a perfect high priest.
And inasmuch as He was not made priest without an oath (for they have become priests without an oath, but He with an oath by Him who said to Him: “The Lord has sworn and will not relent,‘You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek’”),by so much more Jesus has become a surety of a better covenant. Also there were many priests, because they were prevented by death from continuing. But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore
He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through
Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens; who
does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices,
first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once
for all when He offered up Himself. For the law appoints as high priests men who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son who has been perfected forever. Hebrews 7:20-26 (NKJV)
Therefore we do not need to come to the throne feeling ashamed but we need to come boldly. If we are in Christ Jesus, there is no condemnation to us. We do not have to go to the throne thinking that God would strike us down dead. We don't have to stop praying or stop going to church because we feel guilty because of our sin. God is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins (1 John 1:9).
My little children,
these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone
sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. 1 John 2:1-2 (NKJV)
So when we are going through these situations, remember that Jesus understands. He hears our cry (Psalms 120:1). He sees our tears and even puts them in a bottle. Don't think that you are alone and don't say "God, You don't understand what I am going through' because He does.
